A stand-alone role providing expertise in marketing and communications in order to raise awareness of and positively promote the business both externally and internally. Be the gatekeeper of the ATL brand, to ensure consistency of style and message in all activity and information and to ensure it reflects the ethos and values of the organisation.
Monitor and review internal and external marketing and the media strategy, working with the Heads of Department, managers and external consultants to ensure that they are implemented effectively to enhance and develop the ATL brand and image in order to promote organisational cohesion.
Work with all departments in the organisation to support and promote events and whole company wide internal communication requirements.

Health and Safety Responsibilities
3 Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, the company handbook, Quality standards and all other company policies and procedures.
4 Analyse management reports in order to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
5 External Communications – Working with senior management and external consultants to enhance the reputation and perception of ATL through targeted communications, with appropriate content delivered through appropriate media.
6 Manage ATL’s social media (including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn), including staff training, regular updates, and monitoring.
7 Produce and/or coordinate the production of up to date, high quality marketing literature in a variety of formats including leaflets, booklets, adverts and posters.
8 Proof read and sign-off on communication produced by all other departments.
9 Review the website on a regular basis and ensure that it provides factually correct and up to date information.
10 Write, edit and despatch the ATL newsletter and ad-hoc internal communications relevant to the wider team.
11 Coordinate and promote employee engagement activities, including our employee recognition schemes and staff surveys.
12 Organise and promote company fundraising activities and act as the main point of contact with the external organisations.
13 Main point of contact for company event planning including the identification of opportunities to attend external events to raise and promote the ATL brand.
14 Liaise with external suppliers including graphic designers and printers.
15 Create and maintain relevant content for digital screens, which are located within differing areas of the business.
16 Identify opportunities for advertising in addition to identifying relevant award opportunities and coordinating entries.
17 Internal Communications – Offer regular advice to the Managing Director, Sales Director and Senior Managers on communications planning.
18 Media Relations – Work with the organisation and external consultants to oversee and coordinate all contact with the media on behalf of ATL.
19 Research and maintain an active list of media outlets and build / manage a media schedule.
20 Ensure a proactive approach to generating media interest for ATL.
21 Encourage and arrange, in consultation with external consultants, for the writing and publication of case studies in the written.
22 Set up and maintain a library of all ATL press cuttings and online new items.
23 Set up and maintain a library of ATL graphic resources, imagery and photographs.
24 Monitor the company contact inbox and liaise with the relevant internal parties.
25 Adopt a positive and reflective approach to personal and professional development, participating constructively in annual performance reviews.
You will from time to time be required to undertake other duties of a similar nature as reasonably required by your line manager. You are required to follow all ATL policies and procedures at all times and take account of ATL guidance.
